Findability

If you’re starting a business you’re likely spending lots of time trying to figure out what you should charge for your products or services.  Or, perhaps you have an existing business and you’re spending lots of time trying to figure out what you should be charging.

Hint: Price is not the most important thing, it’s findability.  It won’t matter if your thing is $30 or $10 if people can’t find you.

Quick tip: When it comes to getting found Search Engine Marketing, called SEM, is more effective than Search Engine Optimization, called SEO.  SEM focuses on online advertising such as Google Adwords, while SEO focuses on optimizing website content, structure, and coding to be found organically.  You need both but SEM is quick and in my opinion the best bang for you buck.
