Miles Away vs Miles Ahead

Last updated Oct 2, 2016

Ali, Jimi Hendrix, Bruce Lee, Steve Jobs, Picasso, Gandhi, Tarantino, and Einstein were always miles ahead.  Elvis, Bill Gates, Oprah, and Warhol are/were often miles away.  When you’re miles away from everyone else the work you’re doing will often contain seeds of genius, then at other times it may be mediocre.

When you’re miles ahead what you’re doing is so far away that common man can’t see the genius in your work…usually until you’re gone.
