This post was inspired by a conversation I had with my daughter.
For folks who want to make art, make the world a better place, make something better, make changes in their work place, stand-up, lift their voice, do something different, do something important, or just go a different way for the sake of going a different way beware of the undercurrents.
The undercurrents are strong ever present cultural currents trying to pull you in the direction of the the mainstream.
The Average Joe can’t make it swimming against the cultural current. But you’re no Average Joe – are you?
Learn to swim across the cultural current by studying folks like Steve Jobs, Gandhi, Karl Benz, Oprah Winfrey, and Einstein to name a few.
The fatigue you’re experiencing today because you’re fighting the current, is the price for your better tomorrow.
We need you to succeed.
